Fort Saskatchewan is a beautiful community, built along the North Saskatchewan river, only minutes from Sherwood Park and the outskirts of Edmonton. As the heartland of industrial development, the City of Fort Saskatchewan has seen a recent uprise in home construction and home sales.
While the older population of Fort Saskatchewan plays an important role in the sense of community we share, the influx of younger families is a major contributor towards the expansion and evolution of the city. This Spring was extremely busy, as it was in most of the surrounding communities. Following similar market trends, Fort Saskatchewan experienced a strong absorption rate in April, calculated at 57.02%, and while May slowed with a 35.51% absorption rate – this is still considered a ‘Seller’ market. Given these numbers and the development growth in the community we can look forward to positive months ahead!
