Amenities
The Northeast is home to various amenities, including some great shopping centres. Between the Londonderry Mall, Northgate Centre, and other shopping areas along 137th Ave, everything you could need is located in the Northeast.
Head to one of the many nearby parks – Northeast River Valley Park, Rundle Park, Hermitage Park, or Gold Bar Park – to soak in the natural surroundings. Living in the Northeast also allows for close access to the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market and excellent family day trip options, such as the Alberta Railway Museum. The University of Alberta is also situated near the Northeast, making this an ideal place for families with university students (or soon-to-be university students) to live.
