Southwest Edmonton hosts the perfect mix of nature and city attractions. South Edmonton Common, Currents of Windermere, and Heritage Valley Town Centre (under development) provide shopping, dining, and entertainment in modern destinations. 

There are also many opportunities to explore the outdoors in Southwest Edmonton. Check out Terwillegar Park, located on the south bank of the North Saskatchewan River, a great space with trails and an off-leash available. Whitemud Park is perfect for families, as it offers picnic sites, walking trails, and a toboggan hill in the winter. Brookside Park is known to have an exciting playground with equipment for kids of all ages. Other great parks and green spaces include William Hawrelak Park, Leger Park, and George H. School Park. If you want a larger-scale activity, visit Snow Valley Ski Club, which has skiing and snowboarding in the winter and an area park tower in the summer for year-round fun!
